To earn her level 2 certification in the curly girl method, she spent a week working under Denis De Silva, the pioneer of dry cutting and color expert for curly hair, in his salon in Culver City, California. There, she honed her skills by cutting and coloring hair of all kinds, gaining a deeper understanding of the texture basics. In today’s information-packed world, Virginia simplifies the complex over-styling into a few simple, effective steps that anyone can use at home.
